Red Mallee Burl

Two Bimble Box burl bowls - one large and triffid-shaped (image above) with the hallmark voids filled with black resin; the other (image on right) a winged bowl with the voids left … void!!

Bimble Box burls are rare and are difficult to turn because of their voids which show as vivid tiger-striped patterns. These Bimble Box burls were harvested from the Hay Plains in western NSW.
